Roger Lee Berry Send Condolences

Roger L. Berry, 68, of Nitro passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston after a long illness. Roger was retired from the WV Rehabilitation Center, a former police officer for the City of Dunbar, a US Air Force veteran, a member of the Nitro Moose Lodge, and a former singer and piano player for the gospel groups The Lordsman and The Proclaimers. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ester Kirk Berry, his daughter Tammy Loudin, sister Della Wilson, and brother Charlie Hamilton. Roger is survived by his children Michelle McNealy and husband Shelby of St. Albans, Alicia Berry of Sissonville, James Berry and wife Kristin of South Charleston, sister Norma Armstrong and Carol Peteriet of Harrison, Arkansas, brother Darrell Martin of Fort Wayne, IN, grandchildren William Loudin, Timothy Loudin, Matthew Loudin, Tori McNealy, Jake McNealy, Daniella Berry, Tristin Berry, Brayden Berry and great-grandson Derek Loudin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 to celebrate Roger’s life at Cooke Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2002 20th St., Nitro, WV.
