Esther Frances Oldham McGinn Send Condolences
Esther Frances (Oldham) McGinn, 90, of Nitro, WV passed away early Friday, July 20, 2012 at Cedar Ridge Center, Sissonville, WV. She was born August 8, 1920 to the late Chalmer R. and Jeannette P. Oldham. She will be sorely missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannette Frances Moss; granddaughter Traci Rhea McGinn; sisters Ida M. Richards, Betty L. Ressegger, Anna May McClelland, brothers John C. Oldham, and Roy E. Oldham.
She is survived by her son, James B. McGinn (Barbara) of Colonial Heights, VA; Grandsons Roy A. McGinn (Darlene) of Virginia Beach, VA; and James L. ‘Les’ Moss (Cindy) of DeBary, FL; Granddaughters Anita S. ‘Sue’ Justice (Tim) of Chesterfield, VA; Penny L. Sheppard (Matt) of Hummelstown, PA; and Elizabeth A. ‘Beth’ Oldaker (Will) of Chester, VA , Twelve great grandchildren, three great great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews with extended families.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, Aug 24, 2012 at Cooke Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2002 20th Street, Nitro, with Rev. Mark Smith of St Paul’s United Methodist Church, Nitro officiating. Visitation begins at 10:00 am.
