Betty L. Elswick          Send Condolences

Betty Lou Elswick, 73 of Cedar Grove, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Glasgow.

She was a retired employee of Kroger Supermarket, Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie L. and Virginia Jarrell Lawson, her husband Orville Elswick, Jr, granddaughter; Samantha Elswick, grandson; Orville James Landers, brother, Willie Lawson, Jr and sister; Brenda Fitzgerald.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Bobby Elswick and his wife Judy of Shrewsbury and Kathy Landers and her husband Rick of Mammoth, sisters; Carolyn Sue Powers of Glasgow and Elsie Johnson of St. Albans, 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Old Fort Street, Cedar Grove with Pastor Gary Frampton officiating. Burial will follow the services at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home Sunday.
