Van. B. James Send Condolences

Van B. James, 75, of Alderson, passed away Wednesday, June 13, at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston.
Van was the former operator and owner of Asbury James Cable Co. and Chipper Inc. He was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church Montgomery, and he also attended Hughes Creek Community Church, Hugheston.
Van was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy K. James.
Surviving Van are his wife, Carol Skaggs James of Hugheston; daughter, Yolanda J. Bostic of Alderson; sons, Van B. James II and his wife, Terri, of Alderson and Shawn L. James and his wife, Susan, of Summersville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Service will be noon Friday, June 15, at Montgomery Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Route 60 East, London, with the Rev. C.J. Rider and Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Entombment will follow the service in the mausoleum chapel.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel.
There will be an additional memorial service at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 17, at Hughes Creek Community Church, Hugheston, with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Baptist Church, 5th Ave., Montgomery, WV 25136; or to Hughes Creek Community Church, P.O. Box 153, Hugheston, WV 25110.
