Daisy C. Thacker Marshall Send Condolences
Daisy C. Marshall (Thacker), 106, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Nitro, died July 20.
She was the mother of Donald L. Thacker, grandmother of Jerry, Marshall, Mitchel, Michael, Steven Thacker and Brenda Davis; great-grandmother of nine; and great-great-grandmother of seven.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husbands, Buford Thacker and James Marshall; son, William B. Thacker; brothers, Albert and Harry Duncan; sisters, Garnet Wolfe and Freeda Guthrie; and grandson, Jared Thacker.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of Twin City Bible Church. She resided at Brookdale of South Charlotte and was currently a resident at Carrington Place.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
