Dean A. Stone Send Condolences
Dean A. Stone, 51, of Teays Valley, formerly of Glasgow, passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington.
He was born Dec. 8, 1958, to Basil and Doris (Wiley) Stone of Glasgow.
He will be greatly missed by "his girls," daughters, Melanie Elswick of Glasgow, and Kandi Holley of Pueblo West, Colo. Others left to cherish his memory are his mother, Doris Stone of Teays Valley; his brother, Larry Stone and wife Cindy, also of Teays Valley; sons-in-law, Jeffrey Elswick and Tommie Holley Jr.; nephew, Andy Stone; and his grandchildren, Peyton Mackenzie, Jacob Stone, and Alexandra Nicole Elswick, all of Glasgow, and Kenzington Michelle and Colton Axle Holley, both of Pueblo West, Colo.
A special thank you from his girls to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital, not only for taking such good care of their dad, but of them too. To Candy Burger, words can't even express how grateful we were to have you there. You were extremely helpful getting us through this hard time, and we can never thank you enough. Also we'd like to thank all of our special friends and family, who were there for us through it all.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Cedar Grove, with the Rev. Dale Elswick officiating. Burial will follow the services in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 8, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Cedar Grove.
