Doris J. Estep Send Condolences
Doris June Estep, 70, of Hurricane passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was a Protestant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Bonnie Inman Bowen; three brothers, Frank, Bill and Paul Bowen; and one sister, Judy Williams.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by numerous family members and friends. She was a retired PLPN from Thomas Memorial Hospital with 30 years of service.
She is survived by her life partner, Ruby “Mack” Laake of Hurricane; daughter, Deborah Jordan of Texas; sons, Wayne Estep of Hurricane and Joseph Estep of Scott Depot; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Bowen of Burnet, Texas, and Daniel (Jackie) Bowen of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Effie (Larry) Jordan of Killeen, Texas, and Sandra Brightwell of Scott Depot; and four grandchildren, Chris Womack and Marjorie and Michael Jordan, all of Texas, and Joseph Michael of Scott Depot.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
