Clarence E. Adkins          Send Condolences

Clarence E. Adkins, 82, of Gallagher passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009, at home after a short illness.

Clarence lived most of his life in Kanawha County and was a retired coal miner from Imperial Colliery Coal Company. He was a Korean War veteran, a member of the UMWA, and attended Gallagher Church of the Nazarene.

Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Kees Adkins.

Surviving: son, Jeffrey Adkins and his wife, Delores, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; daughter, Lynette Hudnall and her husband, James B., of Cedar Grove; brother, Paul T. Adkins of Livingston; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
