Louise K. Adkins          Send Condolences

Louise K. Jenkins Adkins, 88, of Chesapeake passed away Monday, December 7, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness.

Louise was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County and a member of Chesapeake United Methodist Church. She was a retired LPN from CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Adkins Jr.; brothers, Sam, Matt, and Everett Jenkins; sister, Martha Jenkins; and many other brothers.

Surviving: daughter, Anita Adkins Goodwin and her husband, Dr. Andrew Goodwin, of Charleston; son, Darrell Adkins and his wife, Rosalee, of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Lisa Daniels, Candy Morris, April Abbott and Chip Adkins; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and sister-in-law, Genevieve Jenkins of East Bank.
