Lloyd W. Lanham          Send Condolences

Lloyd W. “Buckshot” Lanham, 81, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Nicholas County Nursing & Rehab Center after a long illness.

He was a Christian, a member of the UMWA and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a retired coal miner with 38 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey E. Tanner Lanham of Fayetteville; son and his wife, Gary and Carolyn Lanham of Fayetteville; daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Tom Kidd of Cross Lanes and Dianna Lanham of St. Albans; one brother, Charles Lanham of Seattle, Wash.; two granddaughters, two grandsons and three great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 3, in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Glasgow, with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow the services in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens.
