Elva G. Seabolt          Send Condolences

Elva Gladys Seabolt, 89, of Mammoth went to sleep in the Lord Tuesday, November 24, 2009, after a short illness.

She was born November 24, 1920, in Pond Gap and was the daughter of Ernest and Lunda Gandee Seabolt. Elva was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glen, Orville, George, Fred, James and Frank Seabolt; and sister, Mary Richards.

She is survived by her sisters, Macel Carpenter of Kingwood, Virginia Beard and Ethel Barnett of Mammoth, and Opal Hudson of Charleston; sister-in-law, Alice Seabolt of Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Elva was a member of Pond Gap Advent Christian Church and the greatest joy of her life was serving her Lord. Her life bore witness to the words of 2 Timothy 4: 7 & 8 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will give to me on that day and not to me only but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
