James E. Brightwell          Send Condolences

James E. Brightwell of St. Albans passed away November 9, 2009, at his home.

Jim was a retired electrical contractor of 55 years. He served in the armed forces and was a member of the American Legion Post 73.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty (Cash) Brightwell; daughter and son-in-law, Dinah and Ronnie Evans of Blairsville, Ga.; son, Dennis Brightwell of St. Albans; half brother, Earl Brightwell of St. Albans; three grandsons, Wayne and Kelly Canterbury of Georgia and R.J. Brightwell of St. Albans; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The body will be cremated, at his request.

In charge of his arrangements is Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro.
