Roland L. Hamilton Jr. Send Condolences
Roland L. Hamilton Jr., 65, of Montgomery passed away September 30, 2009, at CAMC General Hospital.
He was the son of Ruth G. Hamilton and the late Roland Hamilton Sr.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Linda H. Hamilton. He is also survived by his loving son, Darby Hamilton. He leaves a very special friend of 52 years, Fred Landers, who never left his side during his illness. Ro had three beautiful grandchildren whom he loved very much, Christina, Savannah and Joshua Hamilton.
Christina wants everyone to know he was the best Pop any grandchild could have. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Hamilton.
Ro was a coal miner of 35 years and an avid civil war historian and re-enactor. He was also an avid collector of trains.
There will be no visitation and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
