Betty L. Tustin          Send Condolences

Betty L. Keffer Tustin, 82, of Nitro passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness.

Betty was a native of Poca and was a lifelong resident of Nitro. She was a former nurse for Dr. James Skaggs and Dr. Fred L. Goff, both of Nitro, for many years.

She was a member of Nitro Church of God, a former member of the Nitro Women's Club, Nitro, and served as the club's secretary at one time.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Harry W. and Mary Louise Handley Keffer; one brother; and her husband, Earl Tustin.

Surviving: niece, Debbie Holstine and her husband, Darrell, of Elkview, with whom Betty had been living with for the past several years; nephews, Jim Debord of Elkview and Mike Debord of Sissonville; several great-nieces and -nephews; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311, in memory of Betty.
