Romie H. Keenan Send Condolences
Romie H. Keenan, 87, of Fort Mill, S.C., formerly of Mammoth, passed away at Wayne Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, S.C.
He worked for Valley Camp Coal Company, Cannelton Coal Company and Princess Susan Coal Company. He was a member of the UMWA. He attended Faith Bible Church in South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rebecca O'Dell Keenan; two daughters, Wanda Wilson and Dorsey Goodwin; two sons, Leroy Keenan and Jackie Keenan; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Mullins Keenan of Fort Mill, S.C.; son, Buddy Keenan of Pond Gap; daughters, Lula Belle (Dennie) Ransom of Mammoth, Linda (Cecil) Johnson of Mammoth, and Betty Keenan and Peggy Keenan, both of Fort Mill, S.C.; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in Ward Cemetery, Ward. The procession will leave Cooke Funeral Home, 600 Old Fort St., Cedar Grove, at 12:45 p.m. Thursday for the cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
