Acie G. Bright          Send Condolences

Acie Gene Bright, 68, of Sharon passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic after a long illness.

He was a retired coal miner for Bethlehem Coal and Guipel Coal Company. Acie was a U.S. Army veteran and a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. He was a member of the Hughes Creek Church of God and the UMWA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Surviving are his wife, Joy Lanham Bright of Sharon; son, David Bright and wife, Leigh Ann, of Nitro; daughter, Cindy Clark and husband, Johnny, of Spangler; grandchildren, Jordan and Mackenzie Bright and Ashley Keenan; great-grandson, Braxton Keenan; sister, Betty Winland of Mentor, Ohio; and many other family members and friends.
