Leona F. Tipton Send Condolences

Leona Fay Richard Tipton, the best mother and grandmother the Lord ever put on earth, went to her Heavenly Home Tuesday July 28,2009. She was 65 and resided in Mammoth.
Waiting for her in Heaven are her parents, Gib and Burton Richard; her brothers, Charles Osborne, Ray Craigo and Glenn Craigo; and her sisters, Margaret Waugh and Evelyn Johnston.
Fay loved being a homemaker, grandmother, crafts and quilt making.
Fay devoted her life to her family; from family reunions and Christmas parties to card parties with her sisters. Her biggest devotion was raising her two girls from little girls to fighting teenagers to best friends. Then, in August 1998, the most precious thing in her life was born. Her next almost 11 years were total love and devotion to her darling granddaughter, Cathryn Fay. They were best friends and confidants.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Eddie Tipton; daughters, Ann Holstein and husband, Larry, of Cedar Grove and Cathy Clark and husband, Chuck, of Sod; the absolute love of her life, her granddaughter, Cathryn Fay Holstein of Cedar Grove; brothers, Leonard Craigo and wife, Mary, of New Port Ritchey, Fla., Bill Craigo of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Keith Richard and wife, Daphne, of Campbells Creek, and Garry Richard and wife, Linda, of Cedar Grove; sisters, Charlotte Barnett and husband, Estil, of Cedar Grove and Dotty Simms and her husband, Harold, of Chesapeake; and several nieces and nephews.
