Freda P. Ingram Send Condolences

Freda Pearl Little Ingram departed this life at her home on July 24, 2009.
A native of Wood County, Mrs. Ingram was born on November 21, 1909. A seventy-year resident of Nitro, she was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Nitro. She enjoyed her work in the church and served as a Sunday school teacher, a deaconess, and in several other capacities. She particularly enjoyed the fellowship, friendship, and work in her women's church circle. As a homemaker, she excelled in cooking, sewing, and gardening. She taught her children many things, including a love of games that she enjoyed until the end of her life.
Mrs. Ingram was predeceased by infant daughter, Judith; infant son, Roger; husband, Thomas; daughter, Ardith Rohmiller, her husband Fred, and their sons Douglas, Daniel, and David.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and his wife, Rosalie, of Cross Lanes, Kenneth and his wife, Mary Alice of Huntsville, Alabama, her daughters, Lucille McClure and her husband Tom, of Tornado and Regina Cummings and her husband John of St. Albans. Her nine surviving grandchildren are Margaret Brake, Jeff Ingram, Stewart Ingram, Kent Ingram, David Ingram, James McClure, Matthew Cummings, Jennifer Cummings-Cochran, and Rebecca Cummings. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the First Baptist Church in Nitro followed by the service at 7:30 p.m. conducted by Dr. Lawrence Hoptry. A graveside service and burial will be held at noon July 29 at Middle Ridge Cemetery in Wood County.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the First Baptist Church of Nitro, Twenty-second Street and Second Avenue, Nitro, WV 25143.
The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge Mrs. Ingram's faithful and loving caregivers, Kay Edwards, Goldie Young, Jeanie Raad and Sherry Keener.
